VMS-BYT is powered by Intel® Atom™ E3845 SoC Processors and supports one 204-pin DDR3L SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB DDR3L 1333MHz SDRAM capacity. VMS-BYT offers a multiplicity of I/O involving 1 x VGA, 1 x LVDS, 1 x DC-out, 1 x 8-bit GPIO, one CFast or mSATA, 1 x 2.5” swappable drive bay, 2 x Line-out and 2 x Mic-in, 2 x USB2.0, 1 x USB3.0, 2 x COM and 5 x Antenna mounting. VMS-BYT has dual Gigabit Ethernet: 2 x Intel® I211AT and dual displays with resolutions of VGA mode: 2560 x 1080 @ 60Hz and LVDS mode: 1600 x 1200 @ 60Hz. Audio interface is provided with 1x Realtek ALC892 supports 5.1-CH.

Wide-Temperature & wide-voltage design for In-Vehicle Computing: VMS-BYT can withstand industrial operation environments of temperature between -40~+75°C. Supports a stable +9~+36V wide voltage input, with anti-interference capability and protects computer from overload short circuits.
User friendly design: Front access swappable drive bay and service window, helps easy maintenance and easy to change. With service windows, easy maintain Mini PCIe card, CAN module, DRAM and Storage.
Low power consumption & high performance design: Powered by Intel ® Atom™ E3845 Dual-Core processor, which consumes low power and is energy-efficient. TPD is lower than 10 watts for processor and 17 watts when computer is running on full power; it is really energy-saving.
