Their open frame gives customers more application flexibility and room for customization. The installation alone can be done three ways, i.e. flush mounting, panel mounting or wall mounting. The ease of installation allows the panels to be integrated into any embedded application, making them suitable for interactive multimedia kiosk, industrial communication, factory automation and open HMI. Besides lowering manpower and operational costs, they also reduce chances of infection from person-to-person contact during the recent worldwide pandemic.
In comparison with other competing products in the market, Avalue open-frame panel PCs are much thinner and lighter. Weighing 2.5kg, the OFT-15W33 measures only 46mm thick, which frees up room for easy integration into any system and provides flexibility in the use of limited space. On the other hand, the OFT-21W33, which weighs approximately 4kg, is incredibly thin at 52mm. All Avalue open-frame panel PCs feature Intel® Celeron® J3455 (maximum 2.3GHz) quad-core microprocessor, support 4GB DDR3L memory, and provide excellent performance and ultra-high energy efficiency, striking the perfect balance between user experience and cost.
With 10-point projected capacitive multi-touch screen, the OFT series provides faster and more agile touchscreen experience. Its aluminum shell not only improves heat dissipation efficiency but also ensures space saving and flexible installation in any industrial environment with its compact design. To meet the requirements of different applications, OFT-15W33 and OFT-21W33 are equipped with a wide array of I/O interface, including 4xUSB, 1xCOM, 2xLAN and COM. Other ports, such as GPIO, can also be added according to customers’ requirements, giving it high expandability. Furthermore, the integration of various peripheral devices, such as MSR, RFID, WEBCAM, WIFI/BT and barcode scanner, greatly expands system functions and range of applications. Besides supporting mainstream operating systems, such as Windows 10 IoT and Linux, Avalue OFT series also supports x86 Android 8.1/9.0, allowing users/ system integrators to integrate their existing software system rapidly.
