Avalue Introduces a New Rugged and Expandable Panel PC, ARC-1209

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, January 20th, 2015 – Avalue Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 3479-TW), a global embedded computing solutions provider and an associate member of the Intel® Internet of Things Solutions Alliance, is unveiling a new rugged and expandable touch panel pc, ARC-1209. ARC series is a new product line which stands for advanced ruggedized and expandable panel PC. The ARC-1209 is an ideal solution for industrial automation, home automation and human machine interface applications.


ARC-1209 is powered by Intel® Atom™ E3845 1.91GHz with integrated chipset and supports one 204-pin DDR3L SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB capacity. In terms of the I/O, ARC-1209 deployment includes one USB 3.0, three USB 2.0, two COM, one SATA II, one WiFi, , one Mini PCIe supporting mSATA, three knockouts for antenna mounting, speak out and two LAN ports supporting Intel I210IT for wide temperature. ARC-1209 supports optional dual display (HDMI + LVDS), three audio jack for 5.1CH, extra Mini PCIe slot with push-push SIM socket, and future expansion for GPIO & CAN Bus..


ARC-1209 stands for fanless ruggedized panel pc, which can withstand industrial operation environments of temperature between -30~+60°C and wide voltage input between +12~+26V. Also passes anti-vibration (continuous vibrations) of up to 5Grms, and anti-shock of up to 20Grms tests. The ARC-1209 features a front panel which meets IP-65 water-dust proof and rear IP-41 protection. It provides the most stable solution for harsh environment.


Modularized design of Intelligent Expansion Technology, ARC-1209 equipped with swappable 2.5” hard disk drive and service window for memory which can allow easily change and maintain panel pc and bring to our distributor and system integrator the best benefit of local service quality and efficiency. With Intelligent Expansion Technology design, ARC-1209 is easy to expand via daughter boards through 80-pin expansion sockets for flexible future I/O expansion and system upgrade. Compared with other similar IPC products, the ID design of ARC series provides a brand new concept of next generation panel pc; it’s rugged, expandable and stylish.
