Avalue Introduces 10-inch Digital Signage Computer, MPC-10W5

Avalue Technology （3479-TW）, the professional e-service platform provider, introduces a new Digital Signage Computer, the MPC-10W5, for small panel installation.
Avalue’s MPC-10W5 is powered by Intel® Atom™ D510 dual-core processor which consumes low power and brings both memory controllers and graphics cores on a CPU, facilitating a low-profile panel computer design; meanwhile, delivering price-competitive advantage for users.
The MPC-10W5 is equipped with 10.2-inch 17:10 wide panel, supporting high 1024x600 Resolution. The LED backlight panel gives luminance of 250cd/m² and contrast ratio of 500, compatible with a 5-wire resistive touch screen to suit versatile applications and upgradable to an interactive multimedia service terminal. In addition, the MPC-10W5 can be integrated with low refraction bounding panel to qualify sunlight readability.
On top front panel, a built LED indicator displays alarm signals for specific conditions. This area can also be replaced by a webcam module as an option. Down side front cover, there is set a plastic bar behind which a spared space （Dimension: 27 x 130 x 13 mm） is ready for USB dongle devices placement, such as Wi-Fi, GPRS, GPS and BD.
Additional peripherals like PIR, CIR, Light sensor or RFID R/W module is also achievable without any mechanical modification. These thoughtful designs provide enhanced flexibility in an expandability manner.
Besides, the MPC-10W5 has a minimal screen frame bezel. Full aluminum housing design weighs only 1.22 kg; the maximum thickness is 44.4 mm. Using VESA standard 75x75 hook wall accessories, the MPC-10W5 can be easily mounted on wall or integrated perfectly in an in-store sign board or inside public transportation display systems with its compact design.
