Low-Power Technology
Avalue’s rugged PCs adopt Intel® Atom™ low-power technology processors. Corresponding to the market trend and world’s environmental protection issues, Avalue specs in the latest low cost and low power consumption platforms to full lines of embedded systems.

Wide Temperature Tolerance
The feature of wide temperature tolerance of Avalue’s rugged systems, EPS-AT270, can withstand industrial operation environments of temperature between -15°C to +60°C. The computer can withstand extreme environment conditions and drastic temperature variations depending on the location or region it is placed or used in. Furthermore, an extremely rugged aluminum housing design helps dissipate the heat quickly with its extensive surface. The fanless BMX-S Box PC Series provides outstanding thermal solutions, especially for the heat issue the Northbridge generated.

Anti-Vibration / Shock
Product reliability and stability are certified by industrial product quality tests, including anti-vibration (continuous vibrations) of up to 5 Grms, and anti-shock of up to 50 Grms tests. These conditions include using computer in industrial equipment and machines such as lifting gantry, forklift etc. The computer can also withstand tremors when it is being used on land transportations such as trains, thus extending and diversifying its applications.

Complete Expandability
Avalue’s rugged PCs come with the most complete expandability, including USB, COM, PCIe, PCI, Express Card, GPIO and etc. These features meet a wide array of multi-equipment industrial control serial port connectivity usages; “Express Card” slot connects to GPRS and other wireless networking devices. The sufficient expansions can cope with the versatile connections demanded in industrial fields, and meet the customer’s needs. High portability and solid mechanics features of Avalue’s rugged box computer facilitate wide applications like industrial automation, digital signage (DSA), gaming machine, entertainment, and industrial control and vehicle system applications.
