Avalue’s continued success in small form factor single board computers has led them to develop the new Intel 910 based platforms. ECM910 and ESM-910ETX deliver increased performance and offer both continuity and replacement for previous 852 chipset based product. Both new products feature increased levels of integration and broad bandwidth to give users better system functions; moreover, due to increased power efficiency, systems are capable of fanless operation.
Broad Bandwidth
The mobile Intel 910GMLE Express chipset used supports dual channel DDR2 400MHz system memory that delivers a 20% increase in peak memory bandwidth. Serial ATA is also incorporated, providing faster disk transfer rates. Thanks to the Direct Media Interface (DMI), the 910 series delivers an I/O interface that is 4x faster when compared to previous platforms. Equipped with these new technologies, the 910 series offers a solution with broader bandwidth.
Increased Integration
Integrated high speed USB 2.0, up to 8 ports, enables high-speed connectivity. 2 x dual channel LVDS is supported, providing flexible display connectivity. With dual independent display, the 910 series makes viewing two external sources an easy job. Moreover, it also integrates high definition audio, capable of pleasing even the most dedicated audiophiles.
Unmatched Efficiency
Due to the lower voltage memory (down from 2.5V to 1.8V), a DDR2 module can reduce power consumption by 50% when compared to DDR modules, yet still delivering comparable performance. In short the 910 series offers optimised performance providing higher performance with lower power consumption.
Fanless Operation
