For gaming and medical applications Avalue recommend two models, ERX965Q and ERX945G. Based on Intel Q965 and 82945G chipsets respectively, both boards support Core Duo and Core 2 Duo processors with up to 1GHz FSB and PCI express architecture; enabling high performance multimedia solutions to be realised with a reduced time to market.
ERX945G
Avalue’s latest IMB supports Intel Core 2 Duo and is suitable for high-definition applications. ERX945G provides excellent expansion through its rich IO set and supports a wide range of Intel processor families.

Furthermore, an 8GB DDR2 RAM capacity and 10 USB 2.0 connections deliver excellent expansion capability opening ERX965Q to an even wider range of potential applications.

Long Life Cycle
Avalue’s IMB ranges have a minimum availability of 3 to 5 years. When a product chipset is phased out, Avalue will issue a formal Product Discontinution Notice as an End of Life (EOL) warning to its customers, 6 months before the product is formally discontinued.
Product Quality Control
Avalue’s testing process includes Burn-In, humidity, vibration, drop tests. The development process also includes a five-phase quality control procedure. Avalue’s stringent quality control management system means you can be assured of receiving products of exceptional quality.
PCB assembly and BIOS revision control
The revision control process helps customers avoid the expense of changing or rectifying their products. However, before any component is changed, Avalue obtain the customers’ approval in advance. Avalue then checks and re-checks every aspect of the new component to minimize the impact for customers.
