In heriting its predecessor EES-3610's highly efficient fanless design, the new EES-3611 delivers more premium features such as enhanced multimedia performance and powerful processing capabilities. Targeting the multimedia-intensive applications, EES-3611 features onboard passively cooled VIA Eden ESP10K processor collocating with CLE266 VT8623 chipset that supports MPEG-2 decoding, AGP 8X graphics and dual view display. Measuring at compact size of 220 mm x 65 mm x 147 mm, this micro PC provides up to four USB 2.0 connectors, two serial ports, dual serial ATA interfaces and one 10/100Mbps Ethernet port.

The CLE266 chipset integrates MPEG-2 decoding and video scaling for high quality DVD acceleration and powerful S3 Graphics UniChrome IGP core 2D/3D graphics engine with internal AGP 8X and Alpha Blending that can meet the demanding requirements of wide range of multimedia and gaming applications.

By employing an innovative passive cooling system rather than a conventional fan, the EES-3611 eliminates possible fan failure and guarantee higher system stability and silent performance. The system uses special thermal design utilizing streamlined aluminum enclosure to achieve optimal cooling solution. Three heatsink blocks are mounted directly on the main chipsets that draw heat to a large cooling radiator embedded on the housing, which in turn dissipates the heat out of the system chassis.

EES-3611's operational temperature range is 0 to +45°C, and storage temperature ranges from -20 to +75°C.

A programmable watchdog timer can automatically reset the system in case it stops responding or shuts down unexpectedly, thus further reducing maintenance requirement.

Several storage options are available in EES-3611 including 2.5-inch HDD aside from a CompactFlash socket that can be used as a miniature hard drive. Additional connectivity options include two COM, two UtraDMA133 EIDE interfaces, Mic-/Line in, Line-out, VGA, printer port and PS/2 keyboard and mouse.

Providing optimal performance at minimal noise and reduced power consumption, EES-3611 is ideal for wide range of applications such as POI, KI OSK, ATM, Thin Servers, in-vehicle displays, outdoor entertainment, gaming, multimedia systems and building automation.
